Hi :)
Please can the promises that other people will do the work for you be changed?
"A member of our mailing list will then respond and try to address the details of your inquiry."
Perhaps say
"Members of our mailing list are keen to solve interesting problems and will hopefully help guide
you to ways of solving your issues."

The apology for being voluntary and the explaination that we might be a bit rubbish because of that
is quite good
"as our engagement in the project is completely voluntary and restricted to our spare time."
Although not everyone here is voluntary, some do get paid.  Most organisations that are not based
on voluntary work have similar problems responding to every email.  But just explaining that we are
not professional helps lower expectations and gives us a good excuse.

The Users List and other are also similarly voluntary-based but the message promises that they will
definitely do the work and doesn't mention that they are also volunteers.  Perhaps we should be
similarly apologising and making excuses for them too rather than demanding they be held to a
higher standard.

Regards from
Tom :)

Hi everyone,

Thanks everyone, as time was growing short on this item, I have submitted it to the QA group who
are working on modifying some text for our Bug Submitter Assistant (BSA).

So the text will now read (with all amendments to-date). NOTE: I made the final choice of adding
the last sentence which was reformatted to address problems as pointed out by Dhiren.

Thank you very much for your e-mail and interest in LibreOffice.

Due to the increasing popularity of the free office suite, we receive a lot of support requests
every day. Unfortunately, we cannot reply personally to every e-mail, as our engagement in the
project is completely voluntary and restricted to our spare time.

However, the Community does offer a large variety of mailing lists to support its users. We have
compiled an overview at http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/

Please have a look at these pages, and send your inquiry to the applicable mailing list. A member
of our mailing list will then respond and try to address the details of your inquiry.

How does that read?
