lacking in Mac specific content, don't make it worse. The current

a Mac.

be taken as information by one single individual.
LibreOffice is a multi-platform office-suite that integrates quite well
in different operating systems and distributions.
It's always been a challenge to find the right balance between adoption
of OS related UI consistency and our branding with it's interest in
platform-independent consistency of our product.
I'm sure that this question will be handled here or on the marketing
list every now and then as Mac users are known for their straightforward
commitment to the look-and-feel of their computer.
I can't tell you now what will happen in future, but as
platform-independency is considered very important by a large part of
the community, I don't think that the "Mac only" argument will be
supported by the multitude of the active contributors.
Documentation is specific in some areas and less specific in others.
If Mac only related topics should be shown, I would have recommended to
take screenshots on Mac with a theme, Mac users will take as "their" UI
on first sight. I'm quite sure that there would be possibilities to
modify the theme slightly (adding a green shine or something similar).
But as Alex (as one of our legal experts) already pointed out, it seems
that Mac screenshots might be as risky as Windows theme screenshots [1].
We should include these information in a dedicated wiki page collecting
all the research results.
Best regards
Bernhard
