If we all use Inkscape SVGZ is an option. But at least the final
versions should be plain SVG to allow other applications to open them.
(Perhaps LibreOffice will be able to? Didn't try by now, because
gradients and transparency has not been supported very well in the past)
Yeah, this is another good point to SVG Plain. You and Christoph are
right, SVG is best format for many reasons and worth the upload effort.
:) I suggested it because after each [big] upload made the wiki system
don't responds during some minutes (~10min) and I don't know why or how
to solve it... :/
Thank you very much for these icons! They are great!
I didn't think that it would be possible to keep the clear and
straightforward design of our branding while adding the "glance" some
people (especially young ones ;-) ) like very much. You managed this
in an astonishing way.
Thank you, this is a great praise for me! The original icons are
beautiful, I just added a bit of details and colors to them.
Of course there will be some more work - but it's so much fun working
with all of you.
I'm sure we will be able to provide not only the icons but a full set
of marketing material very soon!
Please, count me in! :D
PS: I've been part of the OpenOffice.org Art Project for several
years. I never saw someone becoming part of the team as easily as you,
Paulo. Thanks not only for your great artwork, but for your decent
character and openness in mind - this is collaborative community work
at it's best!
It's really wonderful read these nice words! I believe at people and
that they can do a great work just by pleasure and personal growing, no
expecting money or rewards. The true reward is the knowledgement, hopes
and achievements that we share with the people surround us. I have seen
this feeling over the open source community by years. I'm glad for take
part right now.
Thank you so much Bernhard!
Best wishes!
~Paulo
PS: Sorry for write your name wrong in my last messages. Just now I
perceived the N comes befor the H. :-[
