そのAsianにはJapanese以外のChinese、Korean等の意味が含まれていないでしょうか？
はい、もちろん含まれています。CJK全部まとめています。
ただ、日本語ロケールで中国語や韓国語を使う人がどのぐらいいるのか、と
いう話なので。
あんまりいないのであれば、わかりやすさを優先してもいいと思いますし、
成程、そう考えれば、Asianを日本語と訳していいのかもしれません。
Asianを「日本語」と訳するに賛成します。
