SilverStripe editor tip!
For those of you playing with the text in a table/cell; if you find that
your text has been re-spaced with large gaps between the words, try the
following:
* MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR PAGE BEFORE DOING THIS (this allows you to go
back to your previous version, if this messes things up badly
To possibly fix:
* click on the icon "Edit HTML Source"
* a window will open
* once the window is open, do Ctrl-F --> this opens the search field in
your browser.
* type in the words where the type has gone weird
* once you are in the correct area, check to see if the text is
surrounded by the HTML paragraph parameter --> "<p>the text is here</p>"
* remove the <p> and </p>
* click on insert
* see if this has helped reformat your text properly
* if yes then save your work; if no, the do *ONE* Ctrl-z and this will
put the HTML paragraph parameters "<p>the text is here</p>" back to
where they were removed
Reason: This version of SilverStripe has a problem with the HTML
parameters in a table-cell. It could be that the next version will not
have this problem.
Cheers,
Marc
