[libreoffice-users] Re: appleworks tests

Hi :)
Errr, having said all that i couldn't open any of the test files sent off-list (at least not in 
Ubuntu even after changing from utf8 to Apple encoding) so i think it probably IS important to 
clear some space and install the light-weight Abiword for word-processing.  If you really need a 
spreadsheet program (on holiday??) then Gnumeric is the spreadsheet program that goes with it.  

However, how many long documents are you likely to write on holiday?  It might still be worth 
sticking with what you have and then copy&paste those letters and things into LibreOffice when you 
get back.
