We need to explain clearly to our (potential) users why, when and how 
they, to mention one example, should use a .0 version.
We cannot expect that people coming to our download page, did read blogs 
or pr messages explaining that. So there needs to be a clear pointer to 
information.
Also, forgotten to mention that the first time (sorry) I see no link to 
the release notes.

Best solution to me, seems a line below the download buttons with the links:
  Release Policy   Release Notes

Yes something in that direction would help.
