Hi :)
By being 'physically' separate it makes it feel as though the 2 actions are separate.  

However,  i have to say i really like the idea of the download/save dialogue box opening up and the 
tab/window that is under it shows the donation option instead of just a blank page.  I think that 
gives the 'physical' separation.  When the download finishes the page would close or revert back to 
the downloads page?  That all sounds very sophisticated.  

Would there be a problem with people like me that right-click on download buttons and choose to 
"open in new tab" or would the opened tab probably just stay open?  They usually seem to stay open 
for me i think.
