This is quite a large topic of discussion that I think would be best 
served on a wiki page. IMO, it also calls for the formation of an ad hoc 
committee of interested members to sort through it, and, of course we 
need Italo's involvement in the discussion.

We should try to formulate our guiding principles through a marketing 
"Mission Statement" that blends in with the LibreOffice 
mission/values[1]. This will help guide us through the rest of our 
marketing strategy.

We should also not forget to add community building to our list of 
marketing categories which I think is an important part of the 
LibreOffice project which is lacking in many ways.
