Hello everyone,

This might be a long thread and I wish we will all stay on topic, as it
is an important subject.

Apologies for the long message,

Charles, I've been too busy recently to give this much thought, but I
do very much want to contribute to this discussion. I hope I'll find
time to think about it and have something worthwhile to say reasonably
soon. Perhaps on the 14-hour flight from Australia to the USA this
Thursday? :-)

Could we start or continue the discussion?
What we need to think about and determine are the following items
(shamelessly plugging from Leif's email):

- the target audience (might be too broad)
- are we offering a product or a community (do we sell who we are or
what we do, and/or the way we do it)?
- we have no roadmap feature-wise, but we have a detailed release plan.
Do we need a "train map"? (no detailed features, but saying where we
would want to be in a year, two years, etc.)
- the channels
- the mission/the story

Hope this helps,
