and to the other people that have made similar offers too.

It's good to hear that 'local' teams are more numerous than i was previously 
aware of although i was aware of Malta already :)  Are local teams discussing 
what they expect or hope for from people holding this type of role?  Is a 
job-spec (list of duties) being developed somewhere?

thanks for your kind offer and your enthusiasm!

Right now, we are not yet in the phase to nominate and vote on official 
contacts. We are still defining roles and responsibilities, and when we have a 
clear picture of that, we will start voting.

However, it's never too early to get involved in marketing. ;-) By subscribing 
and posting to this list, and by introducing yourself, you have already made the 
first step. Just follow the discussions here, to see how we work and how things 
are done - and I'd be glad to work with you in the future!
