Okay guys,
I really didn't want an argument to arise but that's healthy from this list,
any ways i agree a "Ubuntu loco" structure is nice, i for one am a member of
the Maltese loco team for Ubuntu, but here the point i wanted to show is
for example my status, that i am a founder of a community, and in that
community i have members that are assisting the document foundation and
other OSS communities, what i wanted to point out if a group's name could be
stated as a national contact lets say for the Maltese community.
for example Malta has 3 main islands, Malta, Gozo and Commino, there is
roughly a 30min ferry to each island, and i have Gozitons that are ready to
help in covering their island, and i will take care of Malta (the main
island) but will get reports/ feedback from my Goziton counter-part as for
commino its mostly inhabited by 1 family, and a 4 star hotel...
will this be possible? as for the OOo structure it was passive possibly
basic, but it got the job done.
now that's my €0.02 hehe

as for a MARCON list it should be able to be like the old OOo Market list
I could not disagree more strongly - if you want to look to a model then
look to Ubuntu Local Teams and not the failed experiment that was
OpenOffic.oeg Marcons - just my .02

where one declares the nation, name of contact, e-mail and other ways of
contact, and also a slot for a group name if he is in charge of a local
team.
for example my details
Country: Malta & Gozo (the Maltese islands)
name: Warren Camilleri
local Support: Ossmalta.com - Libreoffice
Mobile: 79912004
Skype: ossmalta
twitter: ossmalta
and so on...
