Hi Tom,

Long email follows (I assume, one pass)

Apples - Oranges:

A quick note on physical items: There is two pamphlets at the moment
that got kind of mixed together in some of the other emails. There is
the General Mktg piece that this thread dealt with. This piece is not
tied to the disc project at all.

There is a second tri-fold piece that is for use inside of the case on
the project Tim, myself and others are working - you can see that here:

Chickes - Eggs

Well, certainly there are some BSD distro's that are already flying the
LbreOffice colors - a google search pulled up DragonFly BSD[1] and
PC-BSD[2] with LibreOffice available from the respective repositories
and FreeBSD has since Feb IIRC. There is also, recently, chatter on the
mailing list about BSD packaging.

Sure also this list will grow, for instance I stopped by the web site
for Illumos[3] this morning and packaging of LibreOffice is a line item
in their list of desired (planned) work items.

So Tom... back to an earlier question - how about some more help on
wording a section, in a pamphlet, regarding the benefits of cross
platform, by showing what other platforms support us.

The General Tri-Fold brochure has lots of space, so I went ahead and
tightened it up, added BSD to the list of platforms, now just need to
have some good wording about these, third party supported ports - think
about it Ubuntu, OpenSuse..etc are also third party supported ports,
shallow forks if you will - there is a full 1/3 column of blank space
here.. What shall we say?

Seriously, that is how the others were put together, a few lines at a
time or a few format changes...I bet we can fashion a piece, perhaps
that is appropriate for someone that wants to promote LibO on BSD..want
to try? (of course it may mean adding a wiki page or two also..)

There is lots of empty space ready to be filled:
