Target areas - Hispanic people have stated that they feel left out for
getting software and support in Spanish.
Absolutely agree - I started a conversation with a number of people at
SCALE this year on this subject, specifically why/how it was we where
sitting in a conference in Southern California with near zero Hispanic
attendance.
Bottom line is this is something, IMO, that as a group we need to
address directly and pro-actively reach out to the Hispanic community in
our region. (really I'm speaking of the USA here)
I would be strongly in favor of our making this a major part of a
regional plan.

things stand, there are many good ideas, with no connection between
those ideas and the resources available to implement them.
For example, there are 11 U.S. people in the Members table...and there
are 12 million Ubuntu users. With LibreOffice as default, presumably
the number of Ubuntu LibO installs will approach 12M as people
upgrade. And that's just one Linux distro. How much opportunity exists
if Windows and Mac are included? What are these users willing to do
to support LibreOffice?
A plan such as Drew suggests would bring this sort of intelligence to
light. So instead of a list of good ideas, there could be an action
plan for achieving particular goals with available resources. A good
marketing planning process will surface other interesting
opportunities and strengths. Jumping straight into generating good
ideas is likely to leave some of the best ideas undiscovered.
