You know that the 8.5" page will need to be cut down to 7.0" to make it 
fit the case, or are you planning to fold it in half.

11" to edge, my printers will not work with that and I have to "shrink 
to fit" the pages to work.

Do we need to have the module list in the insert, since we have them on 
the back panel?

How much of the "What is LibreOffice" type of stuff needs to be on the 
inside of the case?

The "How to use this DVD" and what types of things on the DVD [not any 
details] are needed somewhere.  Also the system resources as well.  The 
contact info could be shortened.

It may be best to make this insert as small as possible and then have a 
handout flier that could have all the rest.  The insert would deal with 
running the DVD and what is on it, and other needed stuff.  The external 
flier could be given out "rubber banded" to the case for all that extra 
stuff that is not needed to be passed along with the DVD from computer 
to computer, department to department, etc..

I use the idea of the single sheet DVD movie insert.
Those have chapter lists and other simple info that helps you use the DVD.

That is my opinion, right now.

Actually the tabloid sheet[s] work great for an external document.  I 
use to have to deal with a newsletter that was mailed.  We did not want 
the staple charge, so we did without it.  We needed to keep it no larger 
than three sheets, due to the costs involved in printing 150 or more 
copies.  I usually kept it to two tabloid sheets.
