My whole DVD of folders and files is now online, but most of the Install
Folders are still uploading.

So if you go to the link off of my Lungstrom.com domain, you will see my
work, so far.

*laughing*...ok - wow you have done a lot.

Well, I still haven't made it to the kitchen for some foraging - after
that I'll come back and look at how you are saving my bacon here,

Drew

The Extras and Artwork links are just at its beginning stages. Much of
the others are much more beyond that stage, but needs to be worked on.
But you can get the gist of the way I am heading towards with this DVD.

Sometime late this evening, or Saturday morning, the files and folders
for my DVD will be online at the following URL.

I decided to place it online like the German LibreOfficebox.org site has
their developmental version of the German Language European version.

Hi Tim,

Ok, great so this is all the files in the DVD iso, as a site - not just
the iso for download, right?

Alright I spent some hours today looking over the libreofficebox
website/directory/project structure and files, closely, finally.

The folks putting this together have a lot time, work and good thought
into this - have you tried this under Windows, also - it's pretty nice.

Thought about setting up SilverStripe - could one just suck that whole
directory structure in to a project using said CMS, I assume so.
Do not know anything about "SilverStripe, except seen the name in the
source code of the web pages.

What I did instead, was to suck the whole thing into a NetBeans project
(as a PHP project import)

Using the NetBeans integration, google translate and just time - A
couple of pages translated alright - and the IDE did a good job of
tracking goofs in links as I worked, so the whole thing integrates the
css files in such a way that I could see actually changes with this
beast..well, see.

I moved the additional files, all the documentation (odt, pdf) for the
Getting Started Guide in en, es, fr and the Writer Guide in es, fr - yes
the en team is now officially behind - ha!..anyway, I just took what was
on the wiki for now, did not go to ODFAuthors. Time is out isn't it for
more then that.
Apparently the Writer docs that were on the Wiki site was removed for
some reason about being "too old" or such and I was promised that they
would be back there soon. I downloaded these and exported them to PDF.
Then I list both of these formats for the LibreOffice Writer Guide
Chapters. I have the "Getting Started Guide" full "book" and individual
chapters listed, then after those and some text explaining "why", I
listed the OOo guides for 3.x that LibreOffice do not have. I only
listed those with PDF files, since I/we do not need to mess with the
.odt ones at this time.

I added in the templates in en, es, fr as new directories in the
project.

I most definitely want the Spanish and French documents, templates,
etc., for the DVD. I could make use of the translation toolbar of
Google again and do some French and Spanish "subtitles" in the web pages
directing to pages with those languages to help navigate through the
process, as the English pages are used for.

Added the odt2Daisy, odt2Braile files (including full docs) as new
directories under extensions.
Could never get those two working, since I deal with blind and other
impaired individuals that would really like to use a computer better
with their disabilities. But I could not get it working for OOo 3.x,
and gave up on those two.
Added the odftools directory and only those files not already in the
original.

So, I have the 3.3.0_2-DVD image from libreofficeBox with these new
directories - hidden to the html UI.

I have the 3.3.0_2 snapshot of 2-13-2011 on my computer as folders and
files copied from the DVD I burned from the ISO file. It is easier to
use some of the folders from that than to try to rebuild the folders
myself. The "theme", "pic", and "jre" folders are copied to the main
folder of my DVD folders. I just edited the header section of the web
page[s] I use as template[s] to refer to these folders instead of them
buried within other folders on the German DVD.

I also pulled down all the en, es and fr files for the 3.3.1 rC2 - now
what I plan on doing is to update my copy of the libreofficebox
directories with this new batch (delete and replace the full directory
contents for each)

When the final version for the installs are out for 3.3.1, I will need
to download them into the proper folders and then update the links in
the install page to point to ....3.3.1..... instead of .....3.3.0.....
That does not take too much effort. I will do the same for any
new/updated files that have a different file name. For the .odt file
for the documents, I will also export them to .pdf files. I know a lot
of people who prefer to read through .pdf files instead of editable
files like .odt is.
I didn't download Italian files, but maybe I should. I should probably
just assume I'm done with binaries, that this rc2 is what is going on
this disc image.
Right now, the North American DVD is English, French, and Spanish
[Mexican Spanish]. I want to stick with these for now. Later we can
add the other "top-10" or so languages that might be used in this area
for the "English as a second language" users in the college
communities. English, French, Spanish, then add German, Italian,
Russian, maybe some Asian and Arabic ones.
Alright so the first item to translate is the menu - off for some super
and then back to do that.
