Tonight I was upgrading a very old Java version on a very old WinXP
version and informed me of OpenOffice.org :)

I thought it was an interesting marketing idea. Perhaps we can ask to be
added similarly to other popular free software Windows applications.
Cheers,

Hi Fabian:
This is an excellent idea! I am not sure we have even discussed this!
The obvious groups that we should look to are the ones on our support
pages. We could express our greatest and most thankful appreciation
for supporting us in showing our logo on their website pages as well
as on any software installers where there is an occasion where our
logo could appear. Ahem ... I guess we could all do our part by
displaying our logo on our own personal websites as well.
We should also have a section on our official website where there are
downloadable icons for public display use.
Most preferrably very close or prominently linking to the current
branding guidelines too:

Is that document complete / current ?
