Hi :)
I'm amazed people don't seem to download the Published Guides from
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications

Just to poke around and see how they are done.  Jean-Francois' answer seems to do something they
dothat makes it look more professional.  Of course the published guides have grown organically over
the years so not all ideas are still good and there has been discussion about improving them on the
Docs Team list but it's more important to get the guides out there and the tweaks are kinda
under-the-bonnet stuff that most people wouldn't notice.  I learned a lot from pulling apart a
couple of chapters i had downloaded and once i had made a hideous mess of it i was able to
re-download the original again :)  Experimenting on my own work seldom gets a good result and i
often forget to back-up before starting.

Regards from
Tom :)

I followed Mr. Herr's instructions of removing page numbers and tabs
from ALL levels of the TOC.
That finally did the trick. Now I have a TOC with entries, but no
leading dots and page numbers,
just like Amazon wants it.

Glad it worked !

I just wanted to double check smthg on my system: removing page numbers
on some levels of the TOC, eg levels 1 and 3, leaving page numbers on
level 2. That worked, too.
