http://hsqldb.org is a database engine in Java. My receipt is about 
moving an embedded HSQLDB v1.8 out of the Base jail so it can be used as 
a fully functional multi-user db in server mode or in cached mode 
(single user on local machine but fully functional and independent of 
the frontend). Current HSQLDB version is 2.5.
