Hi :)
Thanks Tim, for uploading the java _21 version to somewhere it can be
reached easily.
http://libreoffice-na.us/English/jre/jre-6u21-windows-i586.exe
That's the Windows-only version but i think the rest of us can find one of
the 3 good versions of java through our package managers fairly easily.
Windows was the tricky one and Tim has sorted that for us :)
Steven Shelton, the instructions for installing multiple versions of
LibreOffice are here
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel
I think it can be used as inspiration for keeping an OpenOffice to also be
alongside LibreOffice.
I keep saying 73Kb but i mean slowness/speed of download rather than
file-size. The file-size is probably around 146Mb. At dial-up speeds, or
even just double that, it's going to take quite a while to download.
Obviously not all bugs and problems have been fixed! Hopefully it is all
getting a lot better and will continue to do so.
Thanks all. :)
Regards from
Tom :)
