My reason is to promote FLOSS software solutions that can realistically compete with Microsoft Office.
Let me put my question in a different way: Why should a company choose a free software(or FLOSS) over Microsoft Office? LibreOffice ensures better privacy (more important for public administrations) and better interoperability. It is better to keep data over time (via open document formats). It can also easily shared and updated between offices and home computers. Companies can also develop components, extensions and libraries when needed. (Different people can have different motivations/reasons to use and suggest Free Software and that is why I am asking this) The next question is: What points do we put when trying to convince these companies to migrate? And how do we convince them? -- Ravi Dwivedi https://ravidwivedi.in/ GPG Keys-> https://ravidwivedi.in/files/ravidwivedi.asc -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: marketing+unsubscribe@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/marketing/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: marketing+unsubscribe@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/marketing/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy
