Hi.  happy holiday.

at the end I don't trust MS and apple not for the quality of products, but for their policy about 
privacy and security (money also).  it is known, for example, that with windows 11 ms will know 
everything you do on your pc.  this is a problem mainly for municipalities, schools, hospitals and 
so on,  especially when computer bad guys use the same methods to still data.

by the way you can go in the LO menu:  file -> save as  -> file type ->  ms* .doc .docx.

i don't know wether ms will change continuously the file format to avoid compatibility.

in case, you can always suggest people to install LO to read / write new data format.  It requires 
5 minutes and is also free of charge.

I have a question for you. Which formats of LibreOffice work in MS Office?

I sent an ODS file to someone which they cannot open.
