Hi Italo,

Yes i just heard Micheal Meeks mention that in his talk at oSC14 when he talked about all the money Mozilla keeps lying around and doesn't use. So i would like to suggest a fundraiser like Pitivi < http://fundraiser.pitivi.org/ > or maybe a kickstarter/indiegogo campaign with a set of goals that are to be completed with that particular funding. I think bountysource.com would also be a good avenue to bring in funding.

When i was mentioning that it should be managed and done by the TDF, i meant more of that if they didnt oversea its creation, that it might not turn out in the best manner. It would also need to be an official video or it wouldnt land in libreoffice's official youtube channel, i assume.

I searched Ustream for 'LiboCon' and got zero results.

Yes i do now the drill on how it normally works, but i'd think something
of this task would need to managed and done by the TDF as part of its
marketing budget.
Which is close to zero, and covers only travels of volunteers to
conferences and events. Linux Foundation has a completely different
funding structure, and has millions of dollars to spend. Their events
are organized by a professional team, our events are organized and
staffed by volunteers. The entire coverage of the Milan Conference was
done with less than 1,000 euro and you can still find it on Ustream by
searching LiboCon.
