I would like to see a mascot myself, but for now. . . .

I have been trying out Tux penguin images with the LO icons in his mid-section.

Here is a Tux-Writer icon.

Yes, it would be nice to have a cute mascot for tee-shirts and such, but that is not something that is being worked on by our designers, or at least I have not heard of any work being done in the past year.

Hello Paul,

Thank you for your question. As LibreOffice has to gain brand
recognition these days we're very much focused on imposing the brand
first. Later on, not now, I'm sure we could have a mascot.

Best,

Charles.

Hi,

I got this marketing idea from Naruhiko Ogasawara.

Could we please have an Official Mascot? (Like FF has the famous &
quickly recognizable Fox).

Thanks,
Paul

Facebook post of Naruhiko Ogasawara:
In our Japanese miniconf, we asked some question that we have no
official mascot character or not.
Most of you might know Japanese like cute, lovely mascot character such
as Foxkeh; Japanese localized firefox mascot came from official mascot
animal "fox."

How do you think about we have some animal mascot? What animal is
suitable for us?

I've not checked discussions about this yet, so please forgive me if it
had been already finished.
