Hi,
In the Danish translation of LO 25.2, it appears that about 120 strings from LO itself and roughly
800 strings from the help system were reverted. (LO was at 100%, LO Help at about 97%, where the
number of unfinished strings in 25.2 is now HIGHER than the number of unfinished strings in Master.)
Thanks to Christian Lohmaier for the analysis in a different mail about the possible cause and how
it can hopefully be avoided in the future. As for now, is there any chance of a technical solution
that identifies the reverted strings and re-reverts them, or do we need to work through the damage
for this time by repeating the translations in each language?
Surely, redoing translations is not something any of us wants to do, but if a technical solution is
not possible, we may have to. The most important thing is avoiding this to happen again.
Best regards,
Lars

Hi,
I can confirm this: for the UI part, we had 25.2 branch fully translated, however now Weblate shows
298 untranslated strings. No such case occurred in the 24.8 branch.
Could Weblate admins investigate this? This would lead to missing translations in the 25.2 release.
(A side note: interestingly, the 25.2 branches in Weblate are visible only for signed in users - is
there any reason for that?)
Thanks,
Stanislav

I'll add that there are a few cases in the 24.8 branch as well.

Hello,
I noticed that Finnish translations on Weblate in the 25.2 branch
are getting mysteriously reverted. I've been translating on the
master branch, from where Weblate automatically copies them to 25.2.
However, it seems two days ago a lot of the translations copied to
25.2 were inexplicably reverted to their previous state. What's going on?
Best regards,
Tuomas
