Yes, Child or Childs is not a German word, but it is used as a
name/identifier for something, not as the world for "little
humans/human breed".
Tor thankfully cleaned up that part quite thoroughly. But admittedly,
I don't share Michael's view here, either – because in these cases it
completely breaks understandability of comments that might have been
gibberish even before.
