hello

With
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=052f181dad89ad34d90513bc9dcd3e3239727933
the new spacing is used only if SAL_USE_NEW_LINEHEIGHT=1 is set in the
environment, else the old metrics are used.

sorry, I am unable to find out the commit and the link point to nothing for me. Is the ID the right one?

Which indicates even more that we can't switch just like that to the new
metrics.
Just a remark: the fact of keeping the old / odd behaviour as default is a risk that the new one get lost, since few will change to adapt / correct to this one. (forgetting it...) Would it not be better to activate the new state per default - maybe with a warning / delay ? So where needed the code can use the old way, but the new one will be the default, and then all people will take much more easily care of.

But I am not the wiser in the game, just here for fun.
Regards
Pierre-André
