 Can't edit
template that is not in already in the template manager [Design
ideas there, but not yet final – Input wanted]

I think in the end will just go for adding a checkbox in the open dialog
to edit templates
since the template manager should only handle the ones saved in the proper
folders.

Problem there is that people also can use the OS file pickers (Tools >
Options > LibreOffice > General ..), where you cannot add a checkbox (and
prolly not change the key-behaviour too, now I think about it :-\ )

Its possible to edit those too, so no issues there

    * Can't selectively copy over styles from a template into current

document (regression, don't know bug no.) [design needed]

I'm not really sure this would belong to the template manager, but more
into the Styles and Formatting dialog through the load styles action

That dialog would need a major change - partly in the direction of the old
manage dialog ;-)

I guess this one deserve its own topic to discuss it

Kind regards,
Cor
