Sometimes the shrinking does not make the alignments work for two sided 
pages.  I use Linux [Ubuntu] and Adobe Reader is not used, as far as I 
know.  I have CUPS/pdf printer and use the default viewer.  What I may 
do is reprint it to a letter size PDF using CUPS/pdf printing.

There is one question though.  There is a lot of "page" names in the 
side panel while viewing the file.  It "looks" like there are many more 
than 2 pages in the file that wants to be viewed or printed.  It also 
takes a relative long time to open/view each page, over the other PDFs I 
have viewed.
