の翻訳ですが類似翻訳で下記のようになっていました
「LibreOfficeはOpenOffice.orgを元にしています。」

「LibreOfficeはOpenOffice.orgを基にしていました。」と提案させて頂きました。「LibreOfficeはOpenOffice.orgをベースにしていました。」のほうがもっと良い気はするのですが、少なくとも元ではなく基だと思います。

でしたので、小数点ではなく小数点記号にしました。何だか解りにくくなったようでスミマセン。
