Thanks for the explanation. I think ideally we would do one of either
letting the website translate the freestanding app names or enforce a
new rule that translations shouldn’t translate the app names and then
fix all of the translations. The latter would be quite a lot of effort I
guess. I think the current state of having the name sometimes translated
and sometimes not for a particular language is not ideal.

I don’t really have an opinion either way on whether translating the
names is a good idea or not in general. It’s nice to have consistent
branding across all languages I guess, but on the other hand the English
names are probably quite awkward for a lot of languages if they can’t be
declined or they contain sounds that don’t exist in the language.

I tried to check what other languages are translating the names using
the command below and came up with the following list. Maybe someone
from those translation communities has an opinion.
