although I'm not a designer the current state of the newdesign2 website
looks to me not very attractive. It's not light weight and the banner at
the top is cluttered.

And you should rethink about the formative colors.

And it is always interesting to see that the diversity of software has
been identified as an issue and things were moved to Silverstripe; and
yet the other way around?
