Maybe there were more webmasters on at the same time. Perhaps this adds
to the load ... although it should not.
luckily, it didn't occur again, so hopefully it was a one-time problem. Maybe the load on the machine was too high as in parallel some Plone databases have been compacted. But then, the high CPU use of two Silverstripe PHP scripts are extremely strange. 

Well, hopefully all those issues are cured soon...
