Only one question:
This content will be ready to publish content for website (in English,
like
on www.libreoffice.org) or do we have to create own content (based on
this)
on our NL subsite?
Good question. Basically you can translate the content or adapt it, or come up with your own. It's
up to you.
Best,
Charles.
I will start work on the EN Features page 4.0 today or Monday and should
have it completed sometime by 30 January. I will then send an email to
all nl website maintainers on our "Website and Web Services" wiki
page[1] that the "EN v.4.0 Features age" is completed and the nl site
maintainers can take charge of their own pages after this. I will also
post an announcement on the Projects mailing list.
This would leave the nl site maintainers 6-7 days to complete their nl
pages.
Some nl site maintainers have chosen in the past to just copy/paste the
html code from the EN Features page right into their own nl Features
page as this saves them time with the links and formatting the tables
and from there they just have to translate and adapt from there. For
those who want, I can drop the EN html version on their nl site if this
is easier for them.
Other nl maintainers have chosen to adapt to their own format and base
their pages on the dev Release Notes wiki page[2]. In that case there is
no reason to wait for the EN page to be completed.
If you are reading this and you are a nl webmaster, make sure that your
email is up on our Website Services page[1]. I have just re-checked my
email list yesterday. If you do add anything to the wiki, I will be
advised of it as I follow that page AND email me if you are having any
problems updating the Website Services page[1].
Leave notes on this thread if you have any questions regarding this.
Cheers,
Marc
