Let's see how it works. Will wait with migration to 1.19 for some more

bad news everyone - it seems the editor simply breaks larger pages, or
makes them insanely slow to edit, and the editor cannot be disabled on a
per-user basis.
So I decided to disable it again, until I have a solution at hand. Sorry :(
