Hi Christian,
first of all, I'm sorry for replying late. I guess my incomming message
traffic is a bit too big to live without filters, but I still do... :)

3) is it possible to hide the page identifier from the Home page URL's (e.g.
the LibO logo now links to /home/ instead of just /)?
Hmm - why does that bother you?
It is of course possible, but that requires tweaking the templates,
and thus is work :-)
well, I don't want a heading saying "Home" on my home page, it just
looks a bit lame. Someone did remove that heading from the English home
page, so let's just assume that my reasoning is the same.
4) do we really need those title attributes on menu items and site logo?
Well, a matter of taste, you don't "need" them, but they do exist..
For
me they seem rather superflous. If we can't drop them, I'd like to at least
have them translated.
They are translatable, e.g.
$lang['fr_FR']['Navigation']['GOTOPAGE'] = '"Aller à »%s«"';
Note as this is an attribute string and I didn't want to bother
handling escaping of quotes myself, it includes the quotes
I would still prefer to simply have them dropped (and I don't mean just
my NL site – I think dropping them wouldn't hurt any of our websites).
It's pretty obvious that the green strip is a menu, so there's no need
to say "Go to page X" on a menu item that already says "X". It's just
useless.
In either case, I'm attaching lt_LT.php file. Please commit it to the
repo and publish on the website as appropriate.
Also, similarly to the ability to translate word "installer", we'd like
an ability to name language packs and help packs both in the list right
below the drop-downs, and in the tree called "Other way to download
LibreOffice, the productivity suite". They could look like:
For the first list:
Language pack – %s
Help pack – %s
For the second list:
Language packs
Help packs
I don't have the translations for them ATM, but will post them tomorrow
if you OK this request.
Thanks!
Rimas
