Hi Rimas, *,

2011/1/27 Rimas Kudelis <>:

3) is it possible to hide the page identifier from the Home page URL's (e.g.
the LibO logo now links to /home/ instead of just /)?

Hmm - why does that bother you?
It is of course possible, but that requires tweaking the templates,
and thus is work :-)

4) do we really need those title attributes on menu items and site logo?

Well, a matter of taste, you don't "need" them, but they do exist..

me they seem rather superflous. If we can't drop them, I'd like to at least
have them translated.

They are translatable, e.g.
$lang['fr_FR']['Navigation']['GOTOPAGE'] = '"Aller à »%s«"';

Note as this is an attribute string and I didn't want to bother
handling escaping of quotes myself, it includes the quotes

5) we would like to translate the English strings on the download page. How
do we do that?

See other posts of today :-)

6) how do I add a page with the list of international sites? I've added a
Subsiteslist page, but it comes out empty.

Having it on an actual subsites hasn't been thought of.. Thus
documentation about it is "lacking" - but I see you figured it out

For all: The string $SubsiteList is replaced by the list.

Please use html-sourcecode view and put that into a div, in order to
create valid HTML

i.e. enter <div>$SubsiteList</div>

(the replacement is an <ul>)

7) is there any special markup we could use to insert e.g. the screenshots
slider similar to (or actually the same as) the one on
similarly, if I want to split the page, do I just copy the code (two divs)
from home page?

Not yet, as the list of screenshots is currently hardcoded, but it is
on the TODO to be able to select the images that should be shuffled in
the CMS.
