- Additionnaly, you can "create" that link between a document and a template using the following extension: http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/template-changer. By doing so, updating the template will have the behavior described before, as in it will prompt you to update the various independant files. Note that this extension, while not updated for long, still work. However having this feature built-in (the ability to change a document's "master" template) would be nice.
This might not be such a good idea. In MS Word, changing the template used to be a major source of corruption and formatting problems. For all I know, it still is. -- Bruce Byfield 604-421-7189 (on Pacific time) blog: https://brucebyfield.wordpress.com website: http://members.axion.net/~bbyfield/ -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscribe@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
