Thank you.  I am using both Windows and OpenSUSE as a OS.

I have the need to keep to a "doc" or "docx" format as a final product,
because of the requirements of the company currently.  (I would love to
change this!)

Again, for me it just opens up as a blank document, when it should open with
populated header and footer content, as it does in Word.
