OK, I hear you. Replace the Combobox by a list box.
In the properties of the control, on the first tab, you should see an entry
callled List Entries.
Enter your list, typing each one and then pressing Shift+Return to move to
the next line of your list. When you click outside of the property field,
you will notice that the list has been created with each entry between
double quotes, separated by a semi-colon.
Close the properties window and save your form. When you open it up in edit
mode, you will see the list that you had entered as a dropdown list,
choosing one of the entries will select it, and this will be written to the
underlying table when you either save the record or move to next one.
