Well it would be worth reporting if we had confirmation from other Mac
users that the problem exists. So far, neither Larry nor I seem to have
the problem.

Have you tried stopping LibreOffice completely, taking it out of the
dock if you put it there, then deleting or renaming the
/User/myusername/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice folder and then
restarting LibreOffice ? When you do this, your LibreOffice
configuration folder should be recreated, and this might possibly solve
the problem.
