"Get Involved" banners: nice! I think this would nicely fit on our
webpages as you suggest. I love the colors.

T-Shirts: Not sure about the T-shirts. I don't think our iconic "page"
is well-known enough yet. It should be accompanied with the TDF/Logo
maybe on the back of the T-shirt. People would not immediately know the
significance of the LO page icon ... at least not yet.

Covers: We should consult with the docs people (Jean - lead). The use of
colors and fonts have a lot to do about readability. I am not sure about
just the "Get Involved!". Would it be better to add a
"http://www.LibreOffice.org" sub-line? Or would that make the banner too
"busy"? Putting a "Get Involved" banner with no discernible way of a
reader to find the place to "Get Involved" may defeat the purpose of the
message.
Actually, now that I look at it, would there be a way of creating a LO
page icon with a faded-out QR as the background? I wonder how that would
look? Then, perhaps, a website sub-line would not be necessary. I wonder
how much of a faded QR we could apply before it became unusable.

IMO, when we (marketing team) work on the branding of LO in marketing
materials, our first objectives should be to heighten brand recognition
of both the TDF/LO logo and the LO page icon. These are assets that can
easily be included in all of marketing materials.
Once both of these are well established, in particular the LO page logo,
then we could use them on their own as they would then be clearly
recognizable by the general public.
