Hi,
This group:
http://opensourceforamerica.org/
is basically a lobbying organization, with working groups for different
focus areas, one of which is Education. Working groups there are really
just mailing lists - go figure.
It seems to me that the US marketing group for TDF should introduce
themselves on the list there - which really means those that might want
to join both lists I suppose - but also, we should have a place for
folks interested in TDF/LibreOffice specifically in the US market to
jump to.
which brings me to this:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/User:Drew/ed-21st-cent
Now it's a wiki, I trust you guys - what I would to make is a one page
hello education world from the TDF/LibreOffice team, so that if/when I
send the email to the osaf saying HI - heard of us...I can link to both
the main site, and some wiki page specific to that purpose - the purpose
being a link that will go to the people on that public mailing list.
Asking for your help, feel free to edit that page or comment - if you
comment you can always use the discussion page, attached to the wiki
page above...at some point, with help, it might be ready to copy to a
permanent home page - then send some Hello messages..
Thanks
drew
