Yes, even String::createFromAscii() usage should be replaced the similar
way, the UniString class (that is the class aliased as String) has the
appropriate constructor, ie.

 String aFoo = String::createFromAscii( "Something" )

should be replaced, with

 String aFoo( RTL_CONSTASCII_USTRINGPARAM( "Something" ) )
