No, you can just go ahead and append it yourself.
If people hate the colors, they will yell, but, judging from what I heard
from conference attendees, there's consensus that the current choice of
default colors/gradients is rather unfortunate.
I'm not exactly sure which colors you mean, though: Tango Sky Blue Light +
Medium or all Tango colors?
I would prefer the former, as the color picker is crowded enough as it is.
I guess the Vibrant blue gradient should be removed from the list since
it isn't a Tango one.

We could have a grid of 6 x 4 colors + a row of grey shades if we added
3 more color hues. Maybe violet?
I would hold off on this until we revise color handling.
