Do you think it'd be a good short-term solution to update the
stnadard.soc/standard.sog files?
A comment bug report concerning better default gradients contained a
link to a Tango gradient palette. I cleaned it up a bit:

~/.config/libreoffice/3/user/config contains several color palettes,
also a Tango one. It consists of only a few colors, but IMHO that's
already better than what we currently have. Should we use it as standard?
The default colors for shapes and diagrams seem both to be hardcoded,
I suggest we simply choose a few colors from these palettes, maybe
these could be made customizable via the advanced options pane at some
point in the future.
