Hi everyone,
the next IRC chat will be this Saturday, again at 16:00 GMT on the
#libreoffice-design channel. This will now be the official chat time every
week.

Just like last week, I'm not sure whether I'll be able to attend this chat,
and I hope one of you will take over as the moderator if there's need to.
Alex, Astron, you've been active in the chats so far as well as on the
mailing list, which makes you good candidates.

As for whiteboards, we need a) establish whether whiteboards should have
owners, b) finish converting old whiteboards to the whiteboard template, c)
determine the process each whiteboard should go through.

To get B done, we need to contact some of the creators, as they can best
formulate what the original goal of the whiteboard was. Christoph Noack has
authored "DocumentCheck", "Calc Range Names", "Progress Indicators", and
"Find bar". Christoph, if you're reading this, could you tweak those
whiteboards to follow the new whiteboard template, or at least tell us if
you don't have the time?
I don't remember seeing Daud, Michelr, or S.Gecko anywhere on the mailing
list recently, and their last wiki contributions date back a few months, so
I assume they're not active anymore (correct me if I'm wrong), which means
that we need to tweak the "Styles and Formatting window", "Macros dialogs",
and "MenuIdeas" whiteboards ourselves.
AFAIK, Paulo José is no longer active, so we also need to tweak "Writer
Status Bar Remaking".

Alex, about the "Table styles" and "Templates and documents rework" pages,
the open points should be on the mailing list and not on the whiteboard.
Within Scope, there really should be no wishes or maybes: if it's a
requirement for all proposals, put it into scope; if it's not, make it part
of your own proposal. Also, let others contribute their own proposals
before you move the status to "design taking shape".

Astron, on your "PropertiesButtonLayout" page, the summary should only
state the goal of your whiteboard, such as "Improve dialog usability". It
should be a single design-oriented goal and it shouldn't suggest the
solution (that's what the Proposal section is for). "Current state" should
be at the top of Relevant art. As the whiteboard seems to apply to dialogs
in general, I'd put in in the HIG section.

We also need to figure out how we're going to shape our HIG.
