Hey !

I'm OK to translate the survey in French, but I don't know how to do it!

Could you indicate it to me?

Thanks

Hi all!

Thanks for all the comments! We followed most of your ideas.

We would very much appreciate feedback from a native english speaker. Also
anyone interested to translate this study into another language, please
contact me!

@Bernhard: We are still looking for a way, to get the people contactable
for
other surveys, but for reasons of anonymity we can't ask for their email-
adress in the survey itself! We are planning such a function within the
platform in future. For now, they hear about new surveys when they become
members of the Facebook- or LinkedIn-Groups. We have removed the
mailing-list
option as it does not seem appropriate atm.

@dror: The „survey review“ mode is not possible at the moment, but as it is
still in development, it would be a good idea to discuss and see if it is
possbile in the future!

Your suggestion about using use cases as examples is good, as it is quite
abstract and sometimes hard to understand the way it is now. Though I don't
fully understand your two sentences ("to choose a Case format click Format
and get all the alternatives among other formatting options (Font,
Paragraph,
Bullets, etc.)" and "to choose a Case format click Format and then click
Case
to get all the alternatives".) But we have been discussing these questions
a
lot - and these dimensions are hard to address! So we are open for any
suggestion here. Generally the options should be as short as possible while
still being understandable :)

We are happy about every comment, so here is the Link again for everyone,
who
would like to have a look at it and give more feedback:

If there are no more comments and noone who wants to translate the survey
into another language, we will start with the survey about mid / end next
week.

Best,
Björn

Hi all,

as promised here is our suggestion for a user survey we would like to
comduct. As you can see, we can do these surveys in multiple languages.

I tried the German one ;-)

What I would like to get most feedback on is the last page. People that
have participated in this survey, should easily be acquired for further
surveys. I think sending them to the general LO lists page is not a
good solution. Facebook, LinkedIn groups seem to be ok - what else can
we offer? What other ideas do you have?

We already discussed the idea of a dedicated survey announcement list.

So I'd rather see a phrase like:

"If you are interested in more LibreOffice related survey, helping us to
improve our product, please provide your mail address, so we can reach
you when a new survey is available."

People don't need to know if they will be subscribed to a mailing list
they don't ever write a mail to - this list would just be the easiest
way for us to reach them.

Pointing to the project resources (website, design list - "where the
results of the survey will be released and discussed in a few weeks")is
good, Facebook and LinkedIn too.

But I wouldn't switch to the LibreOffice site while people think they
didn't finish the survey.

Best regards

Bernhard
