Do you want me to start looking at the process? I have not been
looking into that system since I was working on the NA DVD as my first
priority.

I've already spent about 5 hrs. on it. How you budget your time is up to
you.

Drew:

The boilerplate issue concerns the page header, the page footer, and the
color scheme. This also includes logos.

Also included is page layout control, in the sense that SS creates
tables to control layout, where those tables were not in the
user-created content.

So, when I talk about extraneous content, it's the above I'm
referring to.

I can pretty much guarantee I won't be able to participate in the IRC
chat today @16:00 PST.

Also, I'll be out of email range after this post.

Cheers,

Well I used the ones that the .de "box" project used. If the
SilverStripe system uses a different format, then there will be some
changes. If they use the same CSS files, the pages will just need to
have their relative URL in the headers instead of the one that are
being used now. By making that change, the formating of the pages
should be mostly automatic and may need little editing on our part
[hopefully], except some content style issues.
Hi Jeff,

It's more complicated than that.
Probably - but how much so, I don't know. I do know it is what we have.
- so, only one way to find out, let's move those couple of pages you
mentioned in other emails and see.

I need your help here - in the conversation on the projects list ending
with the web page at

http://libreofficebox.org/projects/

adding the link to the LibO-na site wasn't there also a development
instance setup for the teams use on the server?

If so I lost the (can't find) the address for that - and a quick search
of my email archive didn't pull it up - do you have that?

Yes. I don't have the link with me (it's on my development server). I
will send it later today (after 19:00 PST)
Then I need to register at the forum module at that address - yes?

ISTR that there is a form to fill out that sends an email to Friedrich.
I believe you just use the "Contact us" page to send that request.

The let Christian (?) know so he can give me author role on that
specific site - yes?

Ibid

If not (the dev site wasn't made) we need to get that done as step zero.

It was made. That's how I can assert that I've invested about 5 hrs. on
converting to SS.

After that lets look at step being the move of the first few menu items,
followed by a page - let's see what happens if we just cut in the body.

I've already done that. I've described the work involved.
