This paragraph and the one before it are not quite accurate. I can give
you a suggestion on a fix. (see below)
I think you forgot to mention the fix. We could have Italo look at as I
think he is part of the Oasis membership. Unless someone has a
suggestion. It would be nice to keep some of the names of particular
OASIS supporters. I have added Google.

At the same time, should there be a note on trademark seeing as these
names are appearing on the pamphlet; if so can someone suggest a short
It wouldn't hurt - you can put them all in a very tiny text box with
their TM notifications in the footer of the back panel, BE SURE to
include the TDF trademark for LbreOffice BTW, at least that is how I
would do it, and not mess with it in the body text.
I have added a similar sentence used in the "Getting Started With
LibreOffice 3.3" manual.
3. Could someone proof the pamphlet? Check to see if the description of
the 6 applications are good enough (the descriptions were pulled from
the website to add consistency).
Just looked it over - there are a couple of changes that need to be made
(from above), and a few others I would recommend.
4. The application icons. I left a message on the design mailing list.
But as of this writing there was still no answer. Are these the right
icons? If so, do they look OK? I could not find any link to the LibO
icon set on our Marketing wiki pages ... IMO ... they should show there
as they are a working part of our section.
These are the only official application icons, for the TDF version of
LibO. You could use the new mime-type icons however. The application
icons are changing, but I'm almost certain they are not in any locked
down state yet.
Thanks for the icon set. They look great! Ahhh, yes ... white space. Doh!
Drew: I made further changes. The Icons were not lined in a nice
vertical line. So I changed the Horizontal/Vertical attributes to
Horizontal .51cm and Vertical .68 while retaining the white space. The
icons now look better when looking at them. The text in all 6
applications was put in proportional spacing which left a lot of
"rivers" and extremely spaced out words ... I made these into rag-right
which closed up the gaps.
I have applied all of your corrections.
RE: Writer -- re: desktop publishing ... there is a book writing
module/extension with accompanying styles that was recently released. I
believe that this was warmly received by many authors using LibreOffice.
Maybe leave the Writer descriptions as is?
Re: BASE -- adding info on the backend. I have tried to move text around
but there is just not enough space left. Should we just leave it as is?
Can anyone add a short blurb on backend? That particular paragraph -- I
think I can squeeze another 8 words in there.
